Blindsided.

Without warning when life decides to pull the trample your vibe card it hits you square in the sweets. I was online earlier today when a chime for a chat pops up from an old friend. Being in a good mood I answered... My friend is also my former cousin through marriage and she informed me that my young cousin (her former brother-in law) Kyle just died.

When your face becomes gaunt and your head begins to ring... is that some sort of revelation going off... or is it the mortality chiming in to warn you you could be next? I could not believe it. Only 24 years old and already gone. The cause of death yet to be determined by autopsy. My family is traumatized and it looks that this fourth of July is one of life reflection for myself and many others of my kin. His funeral will be on the 3rd.

Kyle, I never really got to know you buddy, but you will be missed dearly. Fly free.

The Lycan Howls though the moon is not shining tonight...

This is very true. *hugs* Still, it sucks when things like this do happen.

And I know... but in addition to one of the girls in the back quitting without warning, the back manager quit as well, so the remaining back people have been having to put in overtime to try and cover for it. That and every time I try to post, something happens... like the truck breaking down and being stranded out of town. O.o
